Our curriculum leader for Music is Mrs Metcalfe
Our music curriculum aims to provide students with a high-quality music education which engages and inspires them to develop a life-long love of music, increases their self-confidence, creativity, and imagination, and provides opportunities for self-expression and a sense of personal achievement. Children participate in a wide range of activities to develop their talents in all aspects of music including rhythm work, instrumental skills, composition, singing, and appreciation.
Leicestershire Music Services come and give Ukulele lessons to Year 4 every week. Some children continue with these lessons into years 5 and 6.
Mr White is our Piano teacher. He teaches Piano lessons every Friday to children from different age groups across the school. If you are interested in piano tuition for your child please contact the school office.
